I am an experienced Enterprise Architecture consultant, who has supported nearly 50 organisations in creating clear actionable plans that will deliver measurable business value from their Enterprise Architecture function.

 

I founded 'SP Hughes Consulting Ltd' to help CIOs and Enterprise Architecture teams engage the business more effectively , turning architectural insights into value focussed decisions.

I have over 38 years’ experience across IT delivery, leadership, and strategic roles, progressing from technology specialist to IT leadership and enterprise-wide roles.  I understand first-hand how effective Enterprise Architecture enables business strategy through technology execution.  

 

My background spans Enterprise Architecture, IT Business Partnering and senior stakeholder engagement, enabling me to guide organisations in shaping EA practices that address immediate priorities and long-term strategic goals.

 

All engagements are led and delivered by me, drawing on my experience supporting Enterprise Architecture teams in more than 50 organisations across the US, UK and Europe.
